Are you a sunrise person or a sunset person?

Some people find comfort in the quiet promise of a sunrise. A fresh new beginning to the day. The morning light feels like an open invitation to start again, to take on something new, and to approach the day with intention.

It carries the feeling that anything is still possible, as if the hours ahead are waiting to be shaped.

Others are drawn more to the calm of a sunset, when the day slowly fades into warm shades of orange. By then, the day has already unfolded in its own way, and there is no changing what has happened.

Sometimes you look back feeling satisfied with how the day went, and sometimes you wish you had done things differently.

Sunsets bring a quiet moment of reflection. A chance to accept the day as it was and gently begin thinking about tomorrow.

In many ways, this feeling is captured in ‘The Pursuit of Happyness’, a story about enduring difficult days while still holding on to hope for a better future. Just like a sunrise represents the courage to face a new day and a sunset allows us to reflect on the journey so far, life moves between both moments.

In the end, whether you connect more with a sunrise or a sunset, both moments give you something to look forward to.

Either the possibilities of the day ahead or the hope of doing better the next day.

people either seek to hear their thoughts in the calm after sunset, or seek to lose their thoughts in the chaos after sunrise :)
